Und dazu noch in einer besonders regenreichen Bergregion: es regnet immer wieder lange und intensiv. Schon in der Nacht bin ich durch das Trommeln auf das Wellblechdach aufgewacht, aber dann ziemlich schnell wieder weggeschlummert. Als es morgens immer noch heftig regnete, habe ich das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck erst mal ein wenig nach hinten geschoben. Denn ich muss durchs Freie \u00fcber ein seehr nasse Wiese, bevor ich im Restaurant im Trockenen sitze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/africa.hanfsolo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/20240502_131246_rain.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Regen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als es endlich aufgeh\u00f6rt hat zu regnen und Isaac sich noch nicht zu meinem Tagesprogramm gemeldet hat, habe ich erst einmal die Kontakte nach Hause gepflegt. Die Verbindung \u00fcber das mobile Datennetz ist zwar nicht super, aber es reicht f\u00fcr Whatsapp und Co. Zumindest solange ich hier auf dem Gel\u00e4nde an der richtigen Stelle sitze. Es passt sehr gut zu meiner derzeitigen Sichtweise als \u201cWeisser\u201d auf Afrika. Denn die beiden Autoren, darunter der ziemlich bekannt Anthropologe David Gr\u00e4ber, fordern uns zu einem radikalen Perspektivwechsel zu unserer Geschichtsinterpretation heraus. Ich bin zwar erst am Anfang des Buches, aber eine spannende Frage scheint zu sein, welche Seite denn damals wirklich zivilisert und fortgeschritten war und welche nicht. So schrieben die ersten franz\u00f6sischen Einwanderer \u00fcber die indigenen Amerikaner: \u201cSie haben keine Gerichtsverfahren und geben wenig auf die G\u00fcter des Lebens, f\u00fcr welche wir Christen uns so qu\u00e4len; und f\u00fcr unsere exzessive und unstillbare Gier, diese zu erlangen, werden wir durch ihr ruhiges Leben und ihre friedliche Gesinnung zu Recht ermahnt.\u201d Daf\u00fcr das der Text vor 400 Jahren geschrieben wurde, ist er erschreckend aktuell. Mit Isaac bin ich ins Projektb\u00fcro gefahren, aber da der Elektriker das Thema Strom immer noch nicht zufriedenstellend gel\u00f6st hat, sind wir in eine Art Restaurant gefahren. Da gab es zwar kein Internet, aber Strom. Das Thema ist sehr aufw\u00e4ndig und m\u00fchsam, aber ein St\u00fcck sind wir weitergekommen.
